The PARA Method is a simple way to help people not only save information, but find it later.
Below you will find information on the original PARA Method idea. It is very interesting and quite easy to use, but I am not a big fan of calling simple things ‘new’ names just for the sake of calling them something new.
For example, it is all the rage now to call things such as images ‘objects’ and the saying things like ‘think of an object as being an image.’ No thank you.
So no big deal but I think my PARA organization is much more direct.
The template itself is very easy to use. It allows users to drop any information, whether images, links, forthcoming projects or future plans into simple folders.
The secret is that, in order to find the information again, one need only search for it by name, or tag. In other words, everything you put into the ‘database’ is within reach.
This is NOT one of those Knowledge Based or Second Brain apps that encourages you to keep daily journals or write something just for the sake of writing.
It is specifically mean to store things you wish to use and/or find again.
You will need a Notion account to use the insight template, but they are free. Simply register you account and then click ‘Duplicate’ at the top of the Template. It will be automatically added to your new account. Job done. Feel free to use and/or share this template. And have fun
